Avalla D-50 Hand-Akku-Staubsauger

Having done a fair amount of research and weighted up the pro's and con's of cheaper vs expensive cordless vacuums, I came across Avalla and was impressed by the specification and reviews. We needed a vacuum for our static caravan and the D50 is just the job. I considered the D3 but the D50 has twice the suction on full power according to the product data, so I went with it. It's nicely made product and the LED light has found dust we didn't know we had!

Really light and nimble. It is great features like it’s light and interface. The higher power clean does a better job than ordinary speed. Good product.

Whilst I am pleased with the overall function of the machine, I am a little disappiinted with the battery life. Having had other machines in the past I find the battery in comparison with others not so good.

I bought this to replace an old Morphy Richards cordless vacuum cleaner, and there are some things which work better and some which definitely don't. I like the look (the colour goes with my kitchen!) and the ability to wall-mount it, although not having built-in storage for the tools is a pain. Using it with the full wand it is great on hard floors, less so on carpets but still OK, being ultra-manoeuvrable, and the light is a useful feature. However, I need a lightweight cleaner because of problems with my wrists, and because of the weight distribution it is too heavy to use with the crevice tool - I need both hands to hold it, and that is problematic, especially as I am generally bending down whilst trying to use it. The dust canister is rather small, and the seal not sufficiently good to stop dust collecting in the gaps, making it difficult to open to empty. Finally, on full power (equivalent to the only power on my old one) the battery runs out very quickly. It's a shame, as I like the idea of it and the ethos of the company, but I am going to have to keep my old one going a bit longer!

I really like this Vacuum, it’s very lightweight and I like the light which shows up any crumbs on the floor. It’s definitely better on hard floors than on carpet, but I only have carpet in The bedroom so it’s perfect for me, and a great price..

I have just received my new Avalla DC-50 and I am delighted with it. I was a little concerned about ordering a vacuum cleaner from a company I have never heard of, but reading reviews from other purchasers and other trustpilot reviews I believe I have made the right choice. It's easy to use and does exactly what I need it to do.

Bought for me for Christmas for my new home so still in box but have used my mums so know that it works really well, hence the present. Picks up well and the anti wrap feature is really good. Nice looking hoover too.
