Avalla S-80 - does the job perfectly

Bought for my home office, which is a converted garage with a flat roof, well insulated so can get very hot. However, this unit does a great job of keeping it cool. I bought a longer hose to extend out the small window as the unit is for a sash window, of which I was aware and it works great. I have yet to use the dehumidifier function, but it's a tidy easy to manoeuvre unit, that will get use all year round. One happy customer!

The Avalla S-80. A Very Good Air Conditioner

I bought the Avalla S-80 air conditioner recently and I'm very happy with its performance in cooling the bedroom on hot humid nights. The unit is light and easy to move around the room. It has easy and user-friendly controls and works quietly to cool the room within about 5 minutes. It's most effective if used with the window kit and the window closed, to keep hot air from coming in from outside. The fan speed, air temperature and cool air stream direction can be controlled for maximum comfort.
Overall, a very useful and cost-effective piece of home equipment!

We wanted a unit for our bedroom to cope with hot, humid nights. It works a treat. Great blasts of cold air. Relatively quiet and a small footprint which is ideal for something that is for occasional use. Really does the job and we are delighted

Une mauvaise notice

Les détails techniques sur le site sont faibles ou inexistants. En conclusion, je n’ai pas acheté le bon appareil. Il ne permet pas de chauffer, ce n’est pas une clim réversible. Les appareils au-dessus du S 80, permettent des éliminer l’eau de condensation avec le rejet d’air, ce qui n’est pas le cas du 80. Il semblerait que quand la température de régulation est atteinte, le ventilateur continue de fonctionner? L’écran ne donne pas la température mesurée, en tout cas quand celle-ci est inférieure à 16° C.
Je n’ai pas pu tester correctement l’appareil dans des conditions de haute température puisque je l’ai reçu en hiver. Donc ma note correspond principalement aux renseignements techniques qui n’ont pas été fournies sur le site de la société.
