I like to hang my washing in my conservatory to dry. But the windows end up getting covered in condensation. If I don't keep onto of it, I find black mould in the corners.

Great little machine

Because we try to dry our washing without resorting to the tumble dryer I have wanted to get a dehumidifier for some time. We opted for the Avalla X300 as a result of a recommendation. We have not been disappointed. The amount of water that it collects is astounding. We are very pleased with it.
My only slight niggle is that the control panel is hard to make out, a backlight would be a useful addition.

Bungalow Friendly

I have a small 2 bed 1930’s bungalow and being at work 5days a week I am unable to have the windows open in the day.

With winter setting in I found I was suffering badly with condensation (new double glazing has been fitted) and small areas of mould in certain rooms.

The RH was around 75% when I got the dehumidifier. I placed the unit in the middle of the property (internal doors open) and after running the unit 24hrs for 5 days, the RH is now to around 53-59%.

I run the unit every other day over night and this keeps the % to a good level. As yet I haven’t had condensation and my home seems warmer with the heating only being on for a max of 5hrs a day.

I’ve cleaned the corners that had mould and hoping this is kept at bay until the warmer months when windows/doors can be open in the evenings. Emptying the unit is very satisfying.

The only thing that I would like is if the tank could be clear so it’s easy to see how much water has been collected. Haven’t used the pipe for continental emptying as I have been able to be home when the unit needs emptying.

I have recommended this unit to two friends who are investing.

Dry Washing

Great compact machine, the night mode is very quiet and when i wake in the morning my windows are clear of water. My clothes are dry the next day with using the dehumidifier on clothes drying mode and with an heated airer. The only thing i am finding is i am emptying the water quite frequently as only a small container. But that said still a great by.

Every house should have one

Previous to the purchase of this we suffered with condensation on the inside of windows during winter months, but within days of using the problem was no more.

Great product

I purchased mine in 2023 when having my house renovated, it has been used numerous times and now to dry washing and to keep home fresh and damp free over winter when ventilation is difficult. Money well spent and cheap to run
